Amy Chen Therapy

Psychotherapy Practice

Helping you navigate changes in your life, health, and relationships more confidently and authentically.

Hi, I’m Amy!

I’m Amy Chen, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) practicing in Ontario and I’m committed to creating an inclusive and trauma-informed space where you feel understood, accepted, and respected.

If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and uncertain about how to manage life's up's and down's, you might wonder whether it's possible to find peace amidst life's changes and transitions.

Whether you’re dealing with challenging family dynamics, relationship issues, chronic illness and cancer, grief, and depression and anxiety, I walk you through the work of identifying patterns that are keeping you stuck, so you can finally live as your most authentic self.

I offer daytime, evening, and weekend online therapy appointments for adults living across Ontario.

I want you to know that it is possible to emerge on the other side of the difficulties you’re facing—feeling empowered and ready to make choices that are aligned with your values and the life you want to lead.

Therapy

  • In therapy, I work with adults and elders around various concerns including (but not limited to) challenging family dynamics, relationship issues, chronic illness and cancer, grief, and depression and anxiety. Within these dynamics, I have a particular focus on first- and second-generation immigrants of East Asian backgrounds.

  • I am currently only offering: individual therapy to adults and elders, in-person and online.

I am currently NOT offering: couples and family therapy, or therapy for teens and children.

  • I am unable to support those who need after-hours or crisis services. I may not be the right fit for you if you need a higher level of care.

If you are in crisis, please go to your nearest emergency room or call the Canada’s Crisis Suicide Helpline at 9-8-8.
